As my chocolate-filled advent calendar was kind enough to point out this morning: It’s here, it’s here! Christmas Eve is here! Woo to the hoo! Woot woot! And every other happy exclamation I use on this blog o’ mine (Yay! Yahoo! Eep!)!
Today will no doubt be filled with bunches of baking and wrapping, spending time with family and enjoying all the Christmassy rigmarole. I love this time of year. I love this day. I love Christmas.
So does my little sister, who was kind enough to draw a forest of purple Christmas trees (yes, we are most certainly related) for me to share with all of you. Nice, huh?
Well, we have lots to get done before Santa arrives (if you’re interested in his current whereabouts, check out NORAD’s Santa tracker. It will keep you in the know all day long). And then it’s off to bed for six-ish hours of excitement-interrupted sleep before all the unwrapping ensues. Here’s hoping for a bit more snow to make our holiday complete!
