Last week, I received a package from one of Jared’s grandmas that was filled to the brim with goodies: chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, Reese’s Pieces, Heath Bar chunks, almonds and more. Basically, it’s one giant excuse to do a whole bunch of baking. Don’t mind if I do.
Well a few days later, Jared brought home a pint of Häagen-Dazs vanilla bean ice cream (he knows the way to my heart), and we decided to Sunday it up with our toppings of choice. I honestly couldn’t remember the last time I did up my ice cream that way, but there’s something about sticking toppings on ice cream that makes you feel like a kid again. Give it a try.
