I’ve been making a major effort this year to take more photos of our kids with the good camera, but despite a noticeable difference in photo quality, some of my all-time favorite shots are still the ones I take with my phone, particularly the photos that end up on Instagram. Maybe it’s because those photos tend to be a lot more candid and in the moment. I have to remember to bring the SLR on our daily adventures; my phone has a permanent place in my pocket. So for this week’s photos, it’s Instagram for the win.
The top two black-and-white shots are both from Tuesday: Beany playing photographer, walking around saying, “Cheese, Mommy! Cheese! Smile!” And there’s Bear with his big bright eyes wide open and taking in the world. On the bottom left, it’s Beany on a walk through Cambridge. And at the bottom right, it’s Bear at the SOWA Market in downtown Boston, with an ice-cream sandwich the size of his face. He looks impressed, I think.
Oh, and lest you think we neglected the snazzy camera altogether this week, here’s another shot of the gigantic ice-cream sandwich that we got at the Cookie Monstah food truck at SOWA. I promise I shared.
XO,
Katrina

That is quite an ice cream sandwich. I suspect it took all three (or four) of you to eat it all.

P.S. I like the little sprigs of hair showing up on our little Bear.

Yes, we did all have to work on that ice-cream sandwich to even make a dent. 🙂
And I love Bear’s hair, too! He has a whole head of it growing in so quickly. Has to keep up with his sister!
