A Day in Portland, Maine

August 20, 2015 By Katrina

Standard Baking Co.We spent a day in Portland, Maine, a few weekends back, and I think the more time we spend there, the more we love it. There are so many cute shops (Little and K. Colette are my favorites — so much to see!) and a lot of great restaurants, and I always leave wishing we could stay a little longer. So there’s always an excuse to go back.

Standard Baking Co.I snapped some photos while we were there and ended up with a few new favorites. There’s Beany in front of Standard Baking Co., looking like such a tourist. She’s never one to pass up a free pamphlet of any kind, and when I asked if I could take her picture in front of the bakery, she said, “OK, but first I need my map!”

Portland, MaineAnd then there’s our baby Bear, who’s not so much a baby anymore. He’s walking, talking(ish) and looking so grown up.

Portland, MaineHooray for happy days and weekends away!

XO,
Katrina

Great shots and b&w and an old New England coastal town are a great combo. Everything looked good except for the Red Sawx caps 🙂 – TF, Boxer Journal
