17/52

April 28, 2016 By Katrina

Beany-17-52Bear-17-52The 52 Project, photos 17/52:

Beany: My mom always smiles when she talks about how Beany looked as a newborn — like a sweet baby bird, she says, with those big blue eyes on such a teeny, tiny girl. She’s looking so much like a little school kid these days, but when I catch her staring straight into the lens, I see that newborn face all over again.

Bear: Waking up is such a process for this one. His best mornings and naps happen when he gets a full hour (yes, hour!) of awake time in his crib, all by himself, where he can babble and play quietly before coming out to join the rest of us. It’s his calm before the chaos. This is the face I get when his tranquility is cut short.

XO,
Katrina
